I'M LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME......

I've been ADOPTED!!

Hi!  My name is Percy.  I am a spayed female terrier mix and am looking for a good home.  I was found wandering in a nearby town with no identification.  I was very dirty, but a Good Samaritan took me in and called the people at Charlee's House.  Thank goodness they could take me!  I have my dew claws and my tail is not docked, so we think I didn't have much human contact, but I can't really remember.

The good people at Charlee's House have made sure that I am up-to-date on all my shots and am in good physical condition!  I LOVE to play with other dogs and I am learning to be potty trained.  I've never had to do that before, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

Would you please, please, please open up your heart and home for me?  I really don't make much noise and I just want a forever family that will love and take care of me.  Please contact Kim at kimvandeest@hotmail.com if you are interested.  Love, Percy

Our Mission
Charlee's House is dedicated to ending the suffering of neglected and homeless animals through humane education, networking efforts, and adoption.

Our Philosophy
The Parable of the Starfish

"As an old man walked along the beach at dawn, he noticed a young man ahead of him picking up starfish and gently throwing them into the sea.  Finally catching up to the youth, he asked why he was doing this.  The answer was that the stranded starfish would die if left until the morning sun.  'But the beach goes on for miles and there are millions of starfish,' countered the other.  'How can your effort make any difference?'  The young man looked at the starfish in his hand and threw it safely to the waves.
'It made a difference to that one.'"
